My name is Kiya Kassa and I am a graduate student at George Mason’s School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution. My area of interest lies in the Horn of Africa where I have extensive research and work experience. I am currently a full time graduate student and a full time employee of the federal government working as a project manager on an IT security team. When I am not at work or in the library, I enjoy meeting with friends and discussing the complexity of social life, politics, and religion. Through this internship I hope to obtain more programs and project related exposure in an international context.
