Manitheepan Kandiah - Sri Lanka

ManitheepanManitheepan Kandiah is a fourth year undergraduate medical student of University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. He is a native Sri Lankan Tamil. He was born in a conflict situation of northern Sri Lanka.

As a medical student with clinical studies he is involving in social mobilization related to health aspects to make awareness about Tuberculosis and first aid. He is a volunteer member to work with volunteer organization which is supporting visually handicapped children to uplift their educational standard and children from poor socio economic back ground to enrich their health status.

I took part in the Non violent communication, advance non violent training & peace building program and Peace building &leadership training sessions in Sri Lanka. I was a member of Board of prefect, Tamil union, English union and chess club in my school days. I took part in international medical student conference in Malaysia and various national medical sessions.
