Rashid Raina - India

RASHID-RAINARashid Raina is currently pursuing PhD in the field of Diplomacy and Disarmament Studies from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Rashid Raida already holds an M.Phil in International Security Studies from the same university. He has also done Masters in Mass Communication and Journalism from University of Kashmir, India. Rashid Raina has worked with the BBC World Service as a trainee reporter at Jammu and Srinagar bureaus. Additionally, Rashid Raina gained working experiences while working as a reporter for Kashmir Images, a daily newspaper from Kashmir. He continues contributing articles to several dailies of repute occasionally. Through this engagement Rashid Raina acquired quite an experience in writing features and articles on various issues of national and international importance. Furthermore, his commitment is also beamed towards engagement in community work at his birth place, being a member of the local peoples welfare association.
