Rewati Raman Dhakal - Nepal

rewatiRamanDhakalRewati Raman Dhakal is pursuing a Masters degree in sociology and is working as monitoring officer at a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Nepal. He has been working in several NGOs since 2004 in the areas of human rights and the uplifting of the living standard of underprivileged children, conflict affected and internally displaced people. Rewati Dhakal has extensive experience in working together with politicians, civil society actors, and security staff in most contemporary issues of Nepal like state restructuring, minorities’ rights, security and stability, democracy, human rights, peace and issues of youth, as ensuring employment for youth through policy recommendation and lobbying.

Rewati has served his community as youth volunteer as a volunteer of Peace Corps and through the platform of Rotaract Clubs in Nepal.  He is interested to participate and contribute to community building and community development through research, advocacy, awareness raising and capacity building programs. Rewati Dhakal’s commitment and hopes are very strong directed towards universal brotherhood and alliances for collective action to reduce chaos, maintain peace, promote harmony and create communities without boundaries.
