Borislav Buljić - Bosnia and Herzegovina

BorislavBuljicBorislav  is currently studying International Law and Diplomacy at the American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In May 2010 he finished the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in Bosnia and spent a gap year in France studying  French language and culture at University of Poitiers. He started working as a volunteer around Bosnia and Herzegovina with the age of 14. In 2008 he founded the youth charity organization ''Benevolentia'' together with high-school classmates, hoping to mobilize young people in Bosnia for community work. That same year he participated in the Youth Leadership Program of the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina and stayed to work with the Embassy as a part of the U.S. Alumni program.  Throughout high-school Borislav initiated a couple of programs aiming at youth activation and leadership and became a member of assembly at the Youth Council of Banja Luka, his hometown. Three years ago he started an annual project with Benevolentia called Youth Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which now serves as the biggest youth project in the country. In 2007 he was employed at the International Film Festival Kratkofil Plus as the Volunteers' coordinator and was then promoted to Production Assistant in 2010 and Coordinator of International Cooperation in 2011.

Borislav hopes to graduate in International Law and Diplomacy in 2015 and tocontinue his academic work with Master degrees in International Relations and Confict Analyses and Resolution, as to create a model in the field, which can be used in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as around the world.
