Chatura Dissanayake - Sri Lanka

CHATURA-DISSANAYAKEChathura Dissanayake a student at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, where he is studying Buddhist studies with a special degree program in Political Science, focusing on Public Administration and Management Studies. He is also pursuing an Association of Accounting Technicians Sri Lanka diploma, and a Human Resource Management diploma, and takes classes at the Hanthana Conservation Society and University Soba Sansadaya. Chathura also led leading SCS as a faculty coordinator in 2009 to 2010, which was emphasized on social work and environmental protection. Furthermore, he is a member of a nonviolence organization in Sri Lanka and participated at nonviolence workshops and trainings conducted by CWBI in Kandy and Colombo, Sri Lanka. Chathura Dissanayake hopes to become a social worker and is dedicated to learn more about humanity through friendships and his work. He is also very passionate about performing social work with his friends and through religious life. Chathura Dissanayake’s innermost sincere wish is to see the emergence of a peaceful world.
